06:40 · Install day
By breakfast, your terrace has a power station.
A raised galvanised frame goes up first, then the panels, angled 18° to the south. A typical 3 kW home is done in a single day, with the terrace still free underneath.
09:15 · Inside one panel
Seven layers, built to last 25 summers.
- 01Tempered glass3.2 mm, anti-reflective, hail rated
- 02EVA encapsulantSeals cells from moisture
- 03Solar cellsMade-in-India DCR, mono PERC

- 06Aluminium frameAnodised, 35 mm, bolts to structure
- 07Junction boxIP68, bypass diodes
12:30 · Peak sun
The house runs on the roof. The extra goes back to the grid.
Panels → Inverter → Battery → Home → Net meter → Grid
The net meter counts what you export. At the end of the month, your bill only charges the difference.
15:00 · Your roof
Slide your bill. Watch the roof fill.
Indicative figures: ~4 units/kW/day, fixed charges stay on your bill, 3% yearly tariff rise, 0.5% panel degradation. Your survey gives a fixed quote.
21:40 · Power cut
When the street goes dark, your lights don’t.
Add a lithium battery and the sun you stored at noon carries the house through the evening. It switches over in under 10 milliseconds, so the Wi-Fi never notices.
- 7.5 kWh fans, lights, Wi-Fi and fridge for about 6 hours
- 6,000 charge cycles, LFP chemistry
- Subsidy still applies, since a hybrid stays grid-connected
Tomorrow, 06:40
The sun comes up again. It always does.
An engineer visits, checks shading through the day, reads your bills and gives you one fixed price. Free, with no obligation.

Since 2019
Pune’s rooftops,
one terrace at a time.
Solutions
Three ways to go solar.
Most homes choose on-grid for the fastest payback. Add a battery if power cuts are part of your week.

On-grid
Lowest cost. Best payback.
Panels and an inverter tied to the grid through a net meter. Surplus units go to the grid in the day and come back at night. Eligible for the full PM Surya Ghar subsidy.
₹1.86L for 3 kW, before ₹78,000 subsidy

Hybrid
Solar plus backup.
An on-grid system with a lithium battery. Runs fans, lights, Wi-Fi and the fridge through power cuts, then tops up from the sun next morning. Grid-connected, so subsidy still applies.
₹2.81L for 3 kW + 5 kWh, before subsidy

Housing society
Shared roof. Shared bill.
A common system on the society terrace that powers lifts, pumps, lobby and parking lights. Eligible for ₹18,000 per kW in central subsidy, up to 500 kW.
Typically 20–60 kW, priced per survey
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
Up to ₹78,000 back from the government.
The central subsidy is paid straight into your bank account after your system is commissioned. We file every step of it with you.

Process
Survey to switch-on in about three weeks.
One engineer stays with you from the first visit to the day the net meter goes in.
- 01 · Day 1

Free site survey
An engineer visits, checks shading through the day with a sun-path tool, measures the roof and reads your last 12 bills.
- 02 · Day 2–3

Design + quote
You get a roof layout, generation estimate and one fixed price. No surprise extras on the day.
- 03 · Day 3–10

Paperwork
We file the subsidy application and DISCOM net-meter request in your name.
- 04 · Day 11–14

Installation
Structure, panels, inverter, earthing and lightning arrestor. Most homes are done in one day.
- 05 · Day 15–21

Net meter + switch-on
DISCOM inspection, net meter fitted, system commissioned. You get app access the same day.
- 06 · Ongoing

Real terraces have water tanks, stair rooms and a neighbour’s tree. We plan around them. All projects

In their words
“The first bill after net metering was ₹380. I checked it twice.”
“Two of us work from home. The Wi-Fi hasn't dropped once since the battery went in.”
“Lift, pumps and parking lights now run on our own roof. The committee loves the monthly report.”
“The survey engineer spotted that our neighbour's coconut tree would shade one corner by 4 pm. Nobody else did.”
How much roof space do I need?
About 90 sq ft of shadow-free space per kW. A typical 3 kW system needs 270–300 sq ft, roughly a quarter of a standard bungalow terrace.
Will solar work during a power cut?
On-grid systems shut down during a cut for the safety of line workers. If you want power through cuts, choose a hybrid system with a battery.
How long does the subsidy take to arrive?
Usually 30 days after commissioning and net-meter installation. It is paid by the government directly into your bank account.
Do I still pay an electricity bill?
Yes, a small one. Fixed charges stay, and in monsoon months generation dips. Most of our customers pay ₹200–700 a month.
What happens in the monsoon?
Generation drops by 30–40% in July and August, and recovers by September. Our estimates include it, so your yearly savings figure is honest.
How often do the panels need cleaning?
A wash with plain water every 2–3 weeks, more often near construction. We include free maintenance visits for 5 years.
