The questions we hear most on site surveys. If yours is not here, WhatsApp us and an engineer will reply, not a bot.

How much roof space do I need?

About 90 sq ft of shadow-free space per kW. A typical 3 kW system needs 270–300 sq ft, roughly a quarter of a standard bungalow terrace.

Will solar work during a power cut?

On-grid systems shut down during a cut for the safety of line workers. If you want power through cuts, choose a hybrid system with a battery.

How long does the subsidy take to arrive?

Usually 30 days after commissioning and net-meter installation. It is paid by the government directly into your bank account.

Do I still pay an electricity bill?

Yes, a small one. Fixed charges stay, and in monsoon months generation dips. Most of our customers pay ₹200–700 a month.

What happens in the monsoon?

Generation drops by 30–40% in July and August, and recovers by September. Our estimates include it, so your yearly savings figure is honest.

How often do the panels need cleaning?

A wash with plain water every 2–3 weeks, more often near construction. We include free maintenance visits for 5 years.

Can I add a battery later?

Yes, if you choose a hybrid-ready inverter. We suggest it to anyone who thinks they might want backup in future.

Is EMI available?

Yes. We work with partner banks for solar loans at 7–9% interest, and SBI offers a rooftop solar scheme with no collateral up to 3 kW.

I live in an apartment. Can I still go solar?

Yes, through your society. A common-area system cuts the maintenance charge for every flat, and qualifies for ₹18,000 per kW in subsidy.

Will my roof leak?

No. Our structure is anchored with chemical bolts and sealed with waterproof grout, and we warranty against leaks for 5 years.
