A G+1 bungalow with a flat terrace, a water tank and a stair room taking the north-east corner. The family wanted to keep using the terrace for drying clothes and Diwali parties.
We raised the structure to 2.1 m so the space underneath stays usable, and set seven panels in one row facing due south at 18°. The stair room shades nothing after 9 am.
